With spring break getting into full swing, I spent the day wandering the city with Ian--who happens to be one of my favorite people. Lucky for us, the weather was perfectly cool and it was just a beautiful day in the bay. We started at the Museum of Modern Art and worked our way around town.
Ian is great driver, he can parallel park in a sec, and he gives high fives when the mission is accomplished, haha.
This huge Takashi Murakami piece is the first thing you see on the second floor. Shrooms and eyeballs, definitely one of the cooler things to see at the MOMA.
I call this "super stoked", pretty much the theme of the whole trip, haha. And yes, the white wall to the right is a piece of art. Touching fine art and taking photos where one shouldn't be taking photos is the way to go. Ian is a great person to go to museums with. Smiles for miles. Really.
The MOMA's ceiling was interesting, we got to walk across the bridge up top.
We went to Haight street after MOMA for some exploring, one can never go wrong with Haight. It's probably one of my favorite places in the city.
Daring. Authentic. Exciting. Bookstores and toystores are the kind of things we do. And what's a trip to San Francisco without a sourdough bowl of calm chowder? And Mitchells ice cream?
White Pistachio and Kahlua flavors, yesssss. To wrap it all up, we went to Twin Peaks. As beautiful as the view is up there, it was freezing and the wind was strong, haha. I only lasted a few minutes before asking to go back to the warmth of the car. Whoops. All and all, another perfect day. Ian is a great guy, and I'm pretty lucky to be adventuring with him.
