I love this country, hands down. It was beautiful--everything about it. The climate is warm, but not excessively humid. The people are nice, but they still have that fun latin flare. The food is amazing, full of grease and queso. It's just simply, perfect. El Salvador is in Central America, NOT South America or Mexico. It's a really small country, you could get around it in only a few days. I finally got around to putting up my favorite shots from the trip and I made a few reel clips too that I'll upload soon.
I love going to old churches, not that I am very religious, but I love witnessing the faith that others have in prayer. El Salvador is a very Catholic country, there are so many old spaniard churches filled with history and amazing architecture. The churches below are in San Salvador, and the old spanish town of Suchitoto.
It's a volcanic costal country, so the sands are so dark, almost black. (Excuse the dust in the Camera)
Beach caves, there was bats above my head, I kid you not. I actually got to go to a volcano. It was a good short hike to the peak, it's still active, so you could actually feel the heat. Cra-zay.
I love the little things too, like the fungus and leaves and stuff. Ya knoww.
Salvadorian Atole de lote and sugared plums.
This was the bathroom, it was outside away from the main house, one side was the shower, and the other the toilet.
My great uncle, thank you to him and all my family for giving me the most memorable trip of my life.
and to my cousins for showing me a great time. really. haha.
